We all know about the infamous sophomore slump faze which most artist who recieve high praises on their first album go through. Though I don't think it affected Bobby Valentino, I'm not sure if its because Ludacris is his backing or because he's just a good artist. Being on Def Jam Records is starting to get to Bobby, because they are putting all they're chips on Neyo who is a labelmate and Bobby feels that he's not getting the publicity like he should be getting. With releasing a single months ago "Turn the Page", he released the Timbaland produced song "Anonymous" as his second single. His album is a good listen, sounding like no other singer out there and that's what I like about him. I believe he'll be around for a while in this r&b thing. 16 tracks, with one interlude and of course one intro and a thank you, the song "Anonymous" is the only fast pace song. Ludacris appears on the song "Rearview" and Fabolous also makes an appearance on a song too. It was hard picking my favorite songs, because the whole cd is like a whole slow jam and the songs make smooth transaction into one another. "Special Occasion" I think is actually better then his first album, this album is definietly a getter if you like good r&b.
HIGHLIGHT TRACKS
"Rearview", "How About It", "Home Is Where You Belong", "Can't Wait Til Later"
